To support our clients we are actually looking for an expeirneced Certification and Authorisation Engineer (m/w/d) in Berlin: As Certification and Authorisation Engineer you will support the Certification and Authorisation Manager in all projects and processes. Create certification evidence in close cooperation with the project staff to ensure that projects are processed correctly and in scope.
Your Tasks You will perform dedicated activities within the C&A processes according to the C&A mngt. plan in all project phases. You will assist the C&A Manager in identifying and creating requirements for certification and/or authorization. You will collect and prepare C&A evidence (e.g., for pre-certification, vehicle type approval, vehicle registration) to be submitted to conformity assessment bodies and/or registration bodies You maintain certification-relevant data in requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS/Excel) You create and track C&A relevant reporting (e.g. KPI, cost overview) You will collaborate with the project team: Engineering, RAMS, Quality, Planning, Validation, Maintenance, Procurement. You collaborate with independent reviewers (e.g. NoBo, DeBo, AsBo) and authorize bodies (e.g. ERA or NSA) You will participate in the follow-up of the certified/approved vehicle configuration(s)
Your profile: Experience in technical projects High level of accuracy, clear communication style Good experience with MS Office, analysis/KPI preparation Experience certification processes (railroad, automotive, aerospace) Project or quality management General knowledge of rail vehicles General knowledge of EU approval process (e.g. ERA) General knowledge of functional safety and validation Knowledge of standards and regulations in Rail Willingness to travel for project requirements
