Skills and experience
A seasoned data consultant with a deep understanding of data migration processes, particularly within SAP and Microsoft environments
Proven experience in managing data migrations within ERP systems
Strong understanding of master data management principles and practices within an ERP context.
Excellent communication skills working with C-level contacts in an international environment
Comfortable working in a part-time capacity, providing targeted support and expertise during critical phases of the project.
Overview
This role is to support a Data Transformation Manager on Data Related Topics around the assessment of ERP system migration options, specifically evaluating the transition from two separate SAP instances to either a unified SAP environment or a Microsoft ERP solution. The primary focus will be on the data-related aspects of this assessment, identifying issues, opportunities and synergies with the organisations data vision.
Key Responsibilities
Review the current ERP environment, data management and data governance processes and tools. Also, the vision and strategy for the future of data management.
Participation in workshops, providing expertise and insight around data topics. Identify key points and challenge vendors to address them.
Offer feedback on proposed approaches to ensure that data-related considerations are fully addressed.
Analyse proposed vendor offers around data topics and report findings.
