emagine is currently looking for an Oracle Service Bus Engineer for one of our clients in the banking industry.

Description:

This role is about working closely with infrastructure architects to design, implement and ensure robustness and long term viability of infrastructure components. The person will research and implement new technologies and patch sets to enhance current processes, security and performance of the system besides developing and maintaining system documentation needed to operate the solution.

General responsibilities:

  • Bring environments management activities toward a goal of 100% automation

  • Design and build fault tolerant solution

  • Design and build highly scalable, secure and easy to manage solutions

  • Research and recommend innovative approaches for system administration tasks

Skills that are needed:

  • Solid experience with Oracle stack (Weblogic, Oracle Service Bus)

  • Solid experience in integration components (Kafka, MQ)

  • Experience in Windows administration

  • Experience in HA, performance tuning, provisioning and security (certificate management)

  • Expertise in scripting using a variety of tools (shell, bash, perl, python, ...)

  • Experience implementing logging and monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics

  • Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills

  • Basic Java Development

Nice to have:

  • Experience with application virtualization and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ...)

  • Experience deploying Java applications

  • Application development or engineering experience

  • Good understanding of network and server virtualization

  • Practical knowledge of Functional and Non-Functional Testing"
