We are currently looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist Consultant with strong expertise in German payroll and benefits, to support our clients global HR & Payroll function.

This is an assignment, based in Stockholm, working closely with international teams and external payroll providers.

Location: Must be based in Stockholm

In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor and expert, ensuring accuracy and compliance in German payroll activities performed by our clients external provider. You will manage the audit and review processes, handle benefits administration, and provide guidance to internal stakeholders on German payroll matters.

Assignment responsibilities:

  • Review and Audit end-to-end German payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance done by external partner.

  • Administer employee benefits in line with German regulations and company policies.

  • Collaborate with finance, HR, and external providers to ensure smooth operations.

  • Provide expertise on payroll tax, garnishments, and reporting requirements.

  • Support audits and ensure all documentation is up to date and accurate.

  • Work cross-functionally with global teams and contribute to process improvements.

    Your profile:

  • Proven experience in German payroll and benefits administration.

  • Background in working with international or global companies.

  • Strong skills in payroll compliance and auditing

  • Fluent in German and English, both written and verbal; Swedish is a plus.
