Shape the digital future of a new technology center: As a Project Manager (m/f/d) for network infrastructure, you will be responsible for planning and implementing high-performance IT networks – from passive cabling to active technology.

Main Responsibilities

  • Technical management of passive and active network infrastructure.

  • Planning, coordination, and supervision of execution by service providers.

  • Ensuring compliance with IT roadmaps, standards, safety and fire protection regulations.

  • Technical evaluation and acceptance of network components (Cu, fiber optic, WiFi, VoIP, etc.).

  • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation (CAD, network configurations, service descriptions).

  • Capacity management and interface coordination (e.g., with providers, relocation management, IT architecture).

  • Consulting local IT project management and aligning user-specific requirements.

  • Support in implementing special solutions and new guidelines.

 

Key Requirements

  • Completed degree in IT, Electrical Engineering, or comparable qualification.

  • Several years of experience in project management of IT infrastructure projects.

  • Solid knowledge in passive network technology (cabling, distribution rooms) and active network technology (switches, LAN/WLAN, VoIP).

  • Experience in collaborating with service providers and general contractors.

  • Proficient use of MS Office, CAD tools, and documentation standards.

  • Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and structured work approach.

  • Willingness to travel (as required) for local meetings, inspections, and acceptance procedures.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with building management systems.

  • Familiarity with cloud solutions and services.

Other Details
