Shape the digital future of a new technology center: As a Project Manager (m/f/d) for network infrastructure, you will be responsible for planning and implementing high-performance IT networks – from passive cabling to active technology.
Main Responsibilities
Technical management of passive and active network infrastructure.
Planning, coordination, and supervision of execution by service providers.
Ensuring compliance with IT roadmaps, standards, safety and fire protection regulations.
Technical evaluation and acceptance of network components (Cu, fiber optic, WiFi, VoIP, etc.).
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation (CAD, network configurations, service descriptions).
Capacity management and interface coordination (e.g., with providers, relocation management, IT architecture).
Consulting local IT project management and aligning user-specific requirements.
Support in implementing special solutions and new guidelines.
Key Requirements
Completed degree in IT, Electrical Engineering, or comparable qualification.
Several years of experience in project management of IT infrastructure projects.
Solid knowledge in passive network technology (cabling, distribution rooms) and active network technology (switches, LAN/WLAN, VoIP).
Experience in collaborating with service providers and general contractors.
Proficient use of MS Office, CAD tools, and documentation standards.
Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and structured work approach.
Willingness to travel (as required) for local meetings, inspections, and acceptance procedures.
Nice to Have
Experience with building management systems.
Familiarity with cloud solutions and services.
